Cultivate and expand appreciation of historic resources in Noblesville
Some of Our Successes

Published the 10 most Endangered Structures List.

Saved the Craig House and Essington House, a milliner’s house, at 208 W. 9th Street, est. 1891, from demolition.

Saved the historic Holliday Power Plant in Riverwood.

Provided funding for tuck pointing work for Noblesville First Presbyterian Church restoration project.

Affiliate member of Historic Landmarks of Indiana and member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Recognized local citizens and businesses each year with the Josiah Durfee Award for preservation efforts.

Obtained funding for Noblesville’s four National Historic Registered districts on Conner, Logan and Ninth Streets, obtaining signage for these districts.

Supported the efforts of NPA members who bought and restored historic structures.

Played a role in the creation of Noblesville’s Historic Preservation Commission, established by the city and continue to support its work.

Advocate for saving old town’s brick sidewalks whenever possible.

Awarded thousands of dollars of facade grants to help homeowners maintain and improve their homes.

Helped launch the effort to save the historic Kincaid House in Fishers.

Organize and produce the annual Noblesville tour of historic homes for 30 years in a row.

Organize and produce the annual Holiday Home Tour.

Noblesville Preservation Alliance is an Indiana non-profit organization that is recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
